Any noise or music that is disruptive to other attendees or the operation of the Anime Expo. Riding Hoverboards / Skateboards / Non-ADA Scooters / Segways: if you have one of these, please check it in at bag check or, if it fits, please keep it inside your bag within the Event Facilities.

All costume props and weapons must conform to state and federal law. Projectile costume props and weapons must be rendered inoperable. Functional (real) arrows must have their tips removed and be bundled and zip-tied to a quiver. Costume swords must be tied to your costume in such a way that they can't be drawn.

Per the Los Angeles Convention Center's policies, attendees may bring food for personal consumption only. Bulk food items will not be permitted. The Los Angeles Convention Center has a number of restaurants available onsite, along with a variety of food trucks and other vendors.

Can you bring a sword to anime con?
Toy or fantasy guns that are "obviously fake" are allowed. Swords are allowed if they can be tied shut in their sheath, or if they are made of wood or plastic. Swords must never be waved around or wielded, but they can be used for still posing for photographs.
