Overall, Chobits is simply entertaining to binge watch throughout a day. It is highly recommended for those who would like to savor a lighter spice of delightful romantic comedy. The ecchi element isn't something that is widely explicit as it is rather blended with a good sense of drama and fantasy.Aug 24, 2017
CLAMP is great at this kind of overall upbeat anime, and Chobits is no exception. It's a great anime that I recommend to just about anyone old enough for the adult themed jokes. You might want to preview it before you have your younger siblings or kids watch it.
Etymology. In the series, the derivation of the name "chobits" is given as coming from their father, Ichiro Mihara, who used the word "chobi" to describe anything he thought was "small and hopelessly adorable". Two chobi become "chobits".

Because the target audience is adult men, the series features frank discussions about relationships, sex, and heartache. Although, this added maturity also leads to many visuals or gags based around fan service or, at times, more disturbing incidents of sexual objectification.Mar 11, 2022

Is Chobits a good replacement for kawaisa?
- Mostly. If you're jonesing for Chobits, in particular, Chii, Sumomo, and/or Kotoko, this is a fine, quick fix of kawaisa. It's more of the panty fetish, which seems to be a big thing for the anime writers.
What makes the Chobits series different from other persocoms?
- It also speaks about the Chobits series; that they are different from other persocoms, and what they are incapable of doing unlike other persocoms.
