Cyborg 009: Call of Justice was an anime that started out a bit mediocre, but it does improve over a short amount of time. At only twelve episodes, it's not that much of an investment to watch the entire series. Newcomers and old-timers alike can find appreciation with Call of Justice.Sep 23, 2017

If you can get past all of those this movie is enjoyable enough. The action scenes are fine and the sound tracks are good. For someone like me who was a big fan of the original series, it is enjoyable even if a turnoff. Bottomline, Rushed anime, Altered plot, Unneeded improvisation but worth a watch.

This is one of the best anime and manga series of Japan. It's been around for 40 years but it's anime never had an English before. This here is the only Cyborg 009 series that got it's own English Dub. It's a good one too where all the characters sound the way they should.
His body is also installed with an internal radio that allows him to communicate with his fellow 00-Cyborgs without being heard by normal humans, like his manga incarnation. Joe has an Accelerator like his previous incarnation, able to achieve speeds up to Mach 5 by pressing a hidden switch in one of his back molars.
