It is set after the events of Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn and before the events of Mobile Suit Gundam F91, in which it focuses on two former Zeon remnants as they were hired to investigate the remains of the asteroid base Axis. The novel is loosely based on Richard Wagner's opera Tristan und Isolde.

Londo Bell is the Earth Federation Forces' special forces unit in during the UC 0090s. It formed not long after the First Neo Zeon War. It was created to replace the Titans. It was the primary Federation group to see combat in Char's Counterattack.

Char Aznable (シャア・アズナブル, Shaa Azunaburu), born Casval Rem Deikun (キャスバル・レム・ダイクン, Kyasubaru Remu Daikun) and also gone by the name Édouard Mass (エドワウ・マス, Edowau Masu), is a fictional character from the Gundam franchise.

The MSN-04 Sazabi is a mobile suit introduced in Mobile Suit Gundam: Char's Counterattack. It is piloted by Char Aznable.

However, Londo Bell was eventually successful in destroying Axis with a large amount of conventional nuclear explosives placed in the interior of the structure by petite mobile suits.

Operation British was a failed military operation executed by the Principality of Zeon during the One Week Battle of the One Year War in U.C. 0079. The mission involved dropping a colony on the Earth Federation Forces' Jaburo base.

  • Mobile Suit Gundam Twilight AXIS is an ONA series originally released in Japan in 2017. It is a sequel to the OVA series Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn and is adapted from a light novel of the same name by Ark Performance.

  • The term "Axis Shock" was first introduced in Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn. Prior official media did not have a name for the psycho-frame resonance that pushed the Axis away, though Super Robot Wars Alpha series gave it the name "Light of Human Heart" (人の心の光), after a quote by Amuro.

The last Gundam anime in the franchise, Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans, premiered in October 2015, and lasted for two seasons. The second season aired in October 2016, and both seasons ran for 25 episodes.Sep 16, 2021
